Chinese Reflections - June-July

Even later than last time I kept putting writing a post off and before I knew it it was August already. Work and life in general has been busy, so while I kept on using Duolingo I didn't make much progress or take notes.

I do sometimes talk a little with my partner in Chinese with my limited vocabulary, but it's not much and I think it helps a little, I don't think it's enough to substitute for structured learning.

Closing Thoughts

I think it's safe to say that without real structured learning I'm not going to make much progress. Given how busy life has been and is going to be I don't think I'll start lessons this year. I'll keep on using Duolingo and start taking notes again so at least I keep using Chinese a little.
